Picking Gains from Pakistan and
Kenya’s Social Protection Best
Practices
Studies have shown that benchmarking visits provide practical lessons that help
organizations to identify specific areas that require improvement. In a bid to strengthen
systems in Uganda, there is need to periodically benchmark countries that have
established systems that support social protection delivery.
Benchmarking visit to Kenya the team led by Mr. Stephen Kasaija,
n this regard, a delegation from Head, Expanding Social Protection (ESP)
Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Programme met with the Kenyan Social
Development, World Bank, World Protection Secretariat team, led by the
Food Programme (WFP), International Principal Secretary, Ministry of Labour and
I Labour Organization (ILO), National Social Protection, Mr. Joseph M. Motari.
Identification and Registration Authority Mr. Motari commended the team for
